The galleries below showcase various activations I have designed
for an
array of clients and use cases.

The renders show the final iterations from each design process, ultimately used as
blue prints for our fabrication team to work from;
from machining, to art department, to assembly and installation.

"Moment of Calm"  pop-up immersive experience in NYC

Client request: Create a "moment of calm" for commuters during rush hour in one of the busiest areas in New York inside a

6'6" wide x 10' long x 10' high immersive walk through experience  positioned between a bus stop and subway station in the upper west side.

Using design devices to activate all 5 senses: sight, sound, smell, touch and touch, I had 6 weeks to design, fabricate and activate this "Mind Spa."

Fluffy, Illuminated clouds created a well lit atmosphere inside the enclosed space. Cloud graphics wrapped the interior walls.

A mirrored floor created the sense that participants were floating in among the clouds, as the clouds could be seen above and below them.  Scented diffusers added to the change in atmosphere, while soft ambient music played
from above.

Commuters were given a sample of the calming magnesium based beverage before entering the experience.

In addition to helping with the visual design, I was also tasked with designing the structure in a way that it could be built in SF and transported to NY, with mere hours to complete the final construction in time for rush hour.

Project description:

Educational table top display for a pop-up anti-fentanyl campaign.

Client request: Did you know that the amount of fentanyl that fits on a pencil tip is enough to kill you?

This was the message being shared here in this 3D visualization.

A small pile of white sand on the tip of a real pencil and small dots scattered across oversized pills illustrated in accurate scale what a deadly dose looks like.
